Furniture
A three legged chair I designed and made in Copenhagen, Denmark. Inspired by Børge Mogensens philosophy of creating furniture that is equally practical and beautiful, the DIDI STOL manifested as a cross between a lounge and a dining chair. Its form derives from functional choices, with a triangular structure for stability, subtle curves for comfort, and a low backrest with an uncommon chair angle for versatility.
Tabletop
Miscellaneous ceramics created using existing slipcast pieces at the Bordallo Pinheiro factory in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal. Attempting to maintain the brands bold identity, a sardine, crab, and swallow were used to create functional objects.
Form Studies
Various pieces created in 3D Representation classes.
Woodworking
Various small scale woodworking projects created for an elective class with a focus on manufacturing techniques.
B&W Film Photography
Film photographs I took, developed and printed manually for an elective class. The photographs were taken in both NYC and Jordan and reflect my connection to both locations. The themes of land, identity and tradition are explored in both collections.
